Delayed Beta, Fresh Social Tips: Unlock Your Instagram Potential
First things first: I caught a bug that’s been making the rounds, so the beta launch of our Triovia membership is taking a little raincheck. Instead of launching as planned, we’re pushing it back until later this week.
I’m sorry for the delay—but I promise it’ll be worth it once I’m back on my feet! To learn more about how the membership will help grow your business, navigate here.
What Can You Do About It?
In other news, Instagram’s head honcho, Adam Mosseri, just dropped a Reel that clears up the mystery behind the dreaded shadowban. If you think your content might be getting sidelined, here are his top tips:
- Check Your Account Status: Make sure everything’s in good standing.
- Review Your Insights: Focus on what’s working and let that guide your strategy.
- Revisit Instagram’s Recommendations Guidelines: They might have a nugget or two to help you adjust.
- Experiment Boldly: Try something new if your current ideas aren’t resonating.
It’s all about staying agile and learning what your audience loves.
Quickies for the Week
Here are a few more tidbits to keep you in the loop:
- Instagram Grid Upgrade: Instagram is testing a new feature that lets you reorder your grid. This might be a game-changer if you’re all about that perfectly curated aesthetic.
- Likes vs. Saves: According to Mosseri, Likes are playing a slightly bigger role than Saves when it comes to ranking your content.
- Reel Reposts: Ever worry about someone reposting your Reel? Fear not—if Instagram detects it’s a repost, you’ll get notified and your original post will take center stage.
- LinkedIn’s “Where You Appeared”: LinkedIn has quietly rolled out a new section in Profile Appearances. Now you can see exactly where your name and headline have popped up—be it posts, search, comments, or network recommendations.
- Instagram’s ‘Cut Silences’ Tool: Instagram has added a new video editing tool called “Cut Silences.” I haven’t jumped in to try it yet, and the early word isn’t exactly glowing.
- TikTok Ban Update: The saga continues. TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, has until April 5, 2025, to divest its U.S. operations. While former President Trump floated the idea of Elon Musk stepping in as a buyer, Musk quickly shot that down.
Thanks for sticking with me through all these updates. I appreciate your understanding about the Triovia membership delay—and I’m excited to share more when everything’s back on track.
In the meantime, keep experimenting, stay curious, and, most importantly, keep creating.
